We strongly discourage trying to find us using an internet map or GPS as they show us a mile away from where we are actually located. Instead, until this issue is resolved, please follow our tried and true directions given here.
 
(Please print these directions and bring them with you on your trip.)
  From the West (Sacramento or Lake Tahoe Area, through Manteca) via Hwy 120:     Take Highway 99 south to Hwy 120 east. Continue on 120 east, turning right at the Yosemite Junction, off of Hwy 108, still on 120 east, about 10 miles before Sonora. Continue on 120 through Groveland. (We are located about 24 miles east of Groveland, off Hwy 120.) About 18 miles past Groveland, notice the sign for Hardin Flat Road/ Berkeley Family Camp, but do not turn here. Continue on 120 passing the Yosemite Lakes Gas Station and Mini Mart, over a bridge, and past the 4,000 foot elevation marker. Immediately after the blue "Adopt A Highway" sign, turn right/south, off Hwy 120 at Golden Arrow Road. This short road ends at Hardin Flat Road. Turn left/east, heading up hill. About 1 mile, on your right, you will see our wooden Sunset sign and the green reflective address sign 33569, turn right here into our gravel driveway, continue about 200 yards, and through the gate. Welcome to Sunset Inn!                      
From the West (San Francisco Bay Area, through Manteca) via Hwy 120:     Take route 580 east, to 205 east (near Tracy), to 120 east. Continue on 120 east, turning right at the Yosemite Junction, off of Highway 108, still on 120 east, about 10 miles before Sonora. Continue on 120 through Groveland. Welcome to Sunset Inn! From the South- West (Monterey Area, Merced) via Hwy 140:There are a number of routes you might choose from this area. One option is: Highway 1 north to 156 east, through Hollister to 152 east to 59 north to Merced. From Merced take 140 north/east into Yosemite Valley. Exit Yosemite Valley on Highway 120 heading west, toward San Francisco. Ten miles past Crane Flat exit Yosemite Park at the Big Oak Flat Gate. In one mile, turn left onto Hardin Flat Road. About 1 more mile, on your left you will see our wooden Sunset sign and the green reflective address sign 33569, turn left here into our gravel driveway, continue about 200 yards, and through the gate. Welcome to Sunset Inn! (Please note, for winter conditions, (generally November through April) follow this alternate route: Exit Yosemite Park at the Big Oak Flat gate, on Highway 120 and continue west. Do not take Hardin Flat Road here (which is not maintained in the winter months, and should be avoided), but continue on 120 about 3 miles to Golden Arrow Road. Turn left/south off Highway 120, and then take another immediate left turn/east onto Hardin Flat Road, heading up hill. About 1 mile, on your right, you will see our wooden Sunset sign and the green reflective address sign 33569, turn right here into our gravel driveway, continue about 200 yards, and through the gate. Welcome to Sunset Inn!
From the South (Southern California, Fresno) via Hwy 41:     Take Route 99 north to Fresno. Take Route 41 from Fresno into Yosemite Valley. Exit Yosemite Valley on Highway 120 heading west, toward San Francisco. Ten miles past Crane Flat, exit Yosemite Park at the Big Oak Flat Gate. In one mile, turn left onto Hardin Flat Road. About 1 more mile, on your left you will see our wooden Sunset sign and the green reflective address sign 33569, turn left here into our gravel driveway, continue about 200 yards, and through the gate. Welcome to Sunset Inn! From the East (Summer and Fall only) via Hwy 120 from the east:     Take Hwy 395 to Lee Vining. Turn west onto Hwy 120 toward Tioga Pass. Follow Hwy 120 west through Yosemite, and the high country. Pass through Tuolumne Meadows and later past White Wolf. At Crane Flat turn right, west toward San Francisco. Ten miles past Crane Flat exit Yosemite Park at the Big Oak Flat Gate. In one mile, turn left onto Hardin Flat Road. About 1 more mile, on your left you will see our wooden Sunset sign and the green reflective address sign 33569, turn left here into our gravel driveway, continue about 200 yards, and through the gate. Welcome to Sunset Inn!
From the East (Yosemite Valley) via the Big Oak Flat Road & Hwy 120:Depart Yosemite Valley heading west on the Big Oak Flat Road and continue as it becomes Highway 120 west at Crane Flat. In ten miles exit Yosemite Park at the Big Oak Flat Gate. In one mile, turn left onto Hardin Flat Road. About 1 more mile, on your left you will see our wooden Sunset sign and the green reflective address sign 33569, turn left here into our gravel driveway, continue about 200 yards, and through the gate.
